The Sanju Samson Show
Indian Premier League got its first centurion in Delhi Daredevil's Sanju Samson who scored his first century and highest T20 individual score 102 against Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS vs DD) on April 11, 2017 at Pune.
It was match between Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) vs Delhi Daredevils (DD) and nobody would had thought about what happened in the last match of the IPL 2017. Delhi Daredevils which had already lost its two big players even before the start of the IPL 2017, in match again RPS nobody had thought that DD would manage to win the game which is relying on its local talent.
After winning the toss Pune has asked Delhi to bat first and got first success in the second over when Chahar take the wicket of Tare in the first ball of his first over. Tare was not able to open his account and got caught behind the wicket at zero. Delhi had lost its first wicket at the score of 2 in 1.1 over than Sanju Samson came to the crease.

Sanju Samson who had failed to impress in the previous edition of the IPL and also did not had the great Ranji Trophy Season for Kerla in which he dropped in midway of the season because of the indiscipline and then for Knee injury.
Sanju Samson took no time to settle down and started smashing the ball all around the park and hit four boundaries with the beautiful timing with is bat in just the first six balls which he faced. In starting the 22 years old played the calculated shots and mainly focused on the timing so that he can judge the pitch very well.
He scored his fifty in style in just 41 deliveries and build the partnership with Sam billings and Rishab Pant. Sam Billings and Rishab Pant both scored the crucial 24 and 31 runs respectively but not able to convert their good start into big one. But from one end the 22 year old Sanju keep rotating the strike.
Imran Tahir took the Sam Billing with the brilliant google which billings fail to understand and became the prey of Tahir, Pant who scored the robust 57 against the Royal Challenges Bangalore in their first match, carried his great form in this match as well and started hitting the ball very well. pant got run out by the brilliant throw of Nayank Agarwal at point and had to depart.
Fall of these two set wicket did not let curb the aggression and hunger of Sanju Samson to score the run and he blast the 19 runs off Ashok Dinda's third over before cracking the huge six on the first delivery of the Adam Zanpa to reach the milestone to became the 5th Delhi Daredevil player to score the 100 in IPL.
Sanju Samson has scored his century in just 62 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes before getting bowled to the Adam Zampa but by than DD had already crossed the mark of 160 runs.
After the Samson, Morris came to bat and start hitting the ball upon his arrival on the pitch. With his hard hitting batting performance he added more misery to Pune as he scored 38 runs in just nine deliveries with 4 fours and 3 gigantic six.
With the help of Morris batting Delhi Daredevils manage to cross the mark of 200 and became the first team to score 200 in IPL 2017.
In reply Rising Pune Supergiants had a shaky start and the DD's skipper Zaheer Khan had sent back both the openers early back to the pavilion with the supper bowling performance. To chase the big total RPS got under presser and keep throwing their wickets without having any big partnership.
This is the first time Delhi has managed to beat the Pune in IPl history. Before this both team had played two matches and both had won by the Pune.
