As the Indian Premier League 2017 is all set to begin from today, April 5, 2017, all the national selector would like to closely watch the performance of the each and every Indian players so that they can pick up the best player for the upcoming Champions Trophy in England in June.

This season has been proved very good for Team India and they have won each series against the opponent. This season Team India has played test match series with South Africa, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia and they won every series against all these teams. Winning the test match series again these opponent was also crucial because many of the start players were not part of the Team Indian and still India has won the each series without its start players.

In the absences of big players many new players came into the team and played a very important role to win the series and proofed their selection right and come into the sight of the selectors who are now looking for the players for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

As selector would love to pick up the players who has already made the impact in the previous matches Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Mohammad Shami would definitely want to regain their place in the Indian national team.

In the absence of the big players, new players like K L Rahul, Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya has find the place for themselves in the ODI teams and after the win again the England, Indian skipper Virat Kohli had said that it gave him him a chance to to try a few combination ahead of the Champions Trophy. India is a defending champion of champions trophy so they would love to go with their best squad to reclaim the trophy.

Because the new players has already made an impact now these senior players are in under more pressure to perform much better so that they can regain their place in Team India.

Rohit Sharma:

Being a consistent opener, Rohit Sharma has a very formidable record as a opening batsman so it wont be difficult for him to regain his spot as an opening batsman. Because of the thigh injury has has been out of the action from the past five months but Mumbai Indian's skipper would love to give his best in this IPL to regain his spot in Team India.

Shikhar Dhawan & Suresh Raina:

As compare to Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Rain have to do more to get back into the nation team. However Shikhar Dhawan was the second highest run scorer in the Duleep trophy with 223 runs in three matches. But his inconsistency is a major road block in front of him. In last edition of IPL 2016 Shikhar Dhawan was also inconsistent with his batting and SRH manage to pulled off the campaign mainly due to the pace bowling attack which they had.

So Dhawan has to work on his consistency otherwise it will be very difficult for him to come back into the Team India because K L Rahul who had scored the 6 fifties in 7 innings of test match series between India vs Australia has already marked his impact as an opener for Team India.

Suresh Raina:

The position of Suresh Raina has been in a doldrums after the BCCI has droped him from the central contact however he had been part of the T20 series against England and played all the matches however the Kedar Jadhav who had scored the brilliant 300 against England in the test match series make his chances more dilute.

Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni has already sure to feature in team India as a middle order batsman so the presence of all three batsman (MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Kedar Jadhav) has make it more tough for Suresh Raina to break into the team India squad for Champions Trophy.

The upcoming Indian Premier League would be known for the injuries of the players even before the start of the tournament and because of which they are forced to withdraw from the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League.

J P Duminy:

The first major blow was struck to the Delhi Daredevil when its start player J P Duminy was ruled from the Indian Premier League 2017. Even though he has not been injured but he has pulled from the IPL 2017 because of some personal reasons. However the spokesperson of Delhi Daredevils did not confirm the actual reason behind the withdrawal of J P Duminy but Cricket South Africa has had a very busy cricket season which will continue till Champions Trophy.

J P Duminy was Bought by the franchise

in 2014 and he led the DD in 2015and captained the team in the two matches of the last edition of IPL as well. With 1015 runs in 38 matches J P Duminy is the fifth highest run scorer for the DD.

Quinton De Kock:

Delhi Daredevils team management were just looking out for the option who would replace the J P Duminy in the mean time another major blow shook the DD. Wicket Keeper - Batsman Quinton De kock injured his right index finger in the test match series against New Zealand. Although he had been declare fit to play Hamilton test again New Zealand but has been ruled out of the IPL 2017.

However in his absence Sanju Samson have to play the crucial role as a Wicket keeper - Batsman. Sanju Samson who played for the Rajasthan Royals till IPL 8 had been bought by the Delhi Daredevils last year but not been able to made same impact which he had while in RR.

Virat Kohli:

He has been the part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore since the first edition of IPL (2008) and he let the RCB into the finals of IPL in 2009 and 2011.

In the last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2016) he was in tremendous form and scored 4 centuries and became the leading run scorer of IPL 2017 with the average of 81.08 but the RCB fans will miss him in the opening matches of the RCB in the current edition of the IPL. Last month in test match between India and Australia he injured his right shoulder while saving the boundary in Ranchi and which forced him to left the field in between the match. He had also missed the final test between India and Australia at Dharamshala, Himanchal Pradesh and also confirmed his unavailability for the opening matches of the IPL 2017.

K L Rahul:

Hero of the Border Gavasker Test match series between India and Australia who played the crucial role in each match to reclaim the Border Gavasker trophy has also been ruled out from the IPL 2017. After the injury of Virat Kholi, K L Rahul injury has been proved as a major cause of shock for the RCB. According to the news K L Rahul soon would fly to the London to undergo surgery on his left shoulder.

K L Rahul was in tremendous form in the Test series between India and Australia and he scored 6 half centuries out of his 7 innings and also hit the winning run in the final test match between the India and Australia.

Injured Virat Kohli Might Miss The Opening Matched Of IPL 2017

Virat Kohli’s shoulder injury has become a big a big concern of worry for the Royal Challengers Bangalore before the start of the much awaited cricket T20 tournament of the world, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.

During the Ranchi test match (In ongoing Border Gavaskar trophie between India and Australia) Virat Kohli injured his right shoulder while saving the boundry, and because of that he had to leave the field in between the match. Even in next test match in Dharamshala Kohli had to sit out due to the injury and India’s vice captain Ajiyanka Rahane lead the team India which India won by 8 wickets.

This is the first major injury since 2011 due to which Virat Kohli had to skip the any match for India.

After the Dharamshala test match in post match conference, Kohli hinted that he might be out of the field for few weeks because of the shoulder injury to regain completely his fitness so that he can be 100% fit to play in future. IPL which is just around the corner and will start from April 5, 2017 and the inaugural match will be play between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal.

Because of his (Virat Kohli) shoulder injury, still suspense is hovering over the availability of him for the opening match of IPL 2017. RCB which was the runner up of the previous edition of the Indian Premier League might have to play the inaugural match without its skipper VIrat Kohli and in his absence any other player will have to take the charge of the team.

Like the previous IPL 2016 this year too RCB definitely will looking to dominate its opponent from its first match and to do that they have to play with their full potential and their all big guns have to fire. However Villiers was also out of the action because of the injury so still there is no assurance whether he would be 100% fit to lead the RCB or not. If not than RCB has to look for other options.

Shane Watson:

After the two year ban on Rajasthan Royals RCB bought its captain Shane Watson last year. The former Australian all rounder is totally fit and he can be the possible contender to lead the RCB for the opening matches of RCB. Shane Watson who leaded the Rajasthan Royals in the earlier edition of the IPL would be happy to take the responsibility in the absence of Kohli.

Chris Gayle:

Jamaican hard hitting batsman, Chris Gayle, can be another choice to lead the team RCB. Chris Gayle who is famous for his big hitting specially in the IPL can be last choice to lead the RCB in the absence of Virat Kholi. But there are very less possibilities to hand over the captaincy to him for the opening matches of the IPL 2017.

Delhi Daredevil Lost Its Two Major player

Delhi Daredevil, one of the team franchise of Indian Premier League, is seems like in more trouble. Even before the start of the tournament Delhi Daredevil are in news but for all bad reasons.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 is just around the corner. When all the other IPL teams have been training and preparing their players to play hard and to win the tournament and opting different fitness procedure but things are going south for Delhi Daredevils.

South African start player J.P Duminy was already been ruled out from this 10^th edition of IPL 2017 because of the injury.

Delhi Daredevil was just looking for better alternative in the mean while shocking news has struck it.

Delhi Daredevil start batsman and wicketkeeper Quinton De Kock has been ruled out of IPL 2017 because of his finger injury. Quinton De Kock has injured his finger in the ongoing test match series between South Africa Cricket Tam and New Zealand Cricket Team.

However wicketkeeper batsman has been included for the remaining test after passing the physical test but he need four weeks to recover completely for the injury and because of it cricket south Africa barred him from playing the IPL 2017 for Delhi Daredevils so that he can be available for the champions trophy for South Africa.

How DD will be able to overcome from this double blow?

In the absence of Quinton De Kock Sanju Samson has to play the important role of wicket keeper and batsman. Sanju Samson who has previously played for the Rajasthan Royals and last year has been bought by the Delhi Daredevils last year but he was fail to show his class which he had showed earlier for the Rajasthan Royals.

However in the absence of Quinton De Knock lot will be expected from this Kerala’s young rising wicketkeeper-batsman.

As far as the concern of J.P Duminy, the New Zealand hard hitting batsman Corey Anderson who is famous for his hard hitting shots and his ability to score run very quickly, would be part of the final XI and can show is destructive skills to demolish the opponent.

In 9^th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2017) the performance of Delhi Daredevils was not very impressive and they finished to 6^th position and none of its player able to showcase their skills.

But his performance didn’t impressed the IPL 2017 franchise and none of it showed any interest to buy him.
